Striped Cutout

Loving this Forever21 dress. It has a sweetheart cutout, it shows enough skin without me feeling too exposed.

Floral + Black

I have a fashion crush on floral prints.
It has always been my go-to print. When it comes to clothes and accessories, I have many floral pieces everywhere.

Found these floral printed pants on sale at H&M for $10. You know me I love a bargain. I decided to pair the printed pants with a simple black shirt and heels. Nothing too overpowering. Plus, it keeps the outfit simple and classy.

I practically use my Michael Kors top handle bag everyday. I love it.

Thanks for taking the time to read and view my blog!

Polished

Time for the Winter to Spring transition!

I like wearing sweaters over dresses because it gives my dresses more purposes than just a dress. Put a sweater over it and it's a skirt! I'm saving money and finding new outfits at the same time.

Accessorized with a 1920's inspired hat from Target gives an outfit a polished style look. Wore Jimmy Choo boots that my boyfriend got me from Nordstrom Rack for only $79! Awesome deal! Original price was $950! The boots give the outfit a modern edgy feel.

Light Painting

This was a last minute photo shoot with my lovely friend Jamie Balaoro and Alexis Casillas! She used a technique called Light Painting

I don't know much about it, but the process is basically this. You're in the complete dark while other ppl shine flashlights on you and on the background. But the thing is, you have to sit still, you cannot move at all!!! Otherwise the picture turns out blurry.

So I had to sit still for about 20 seconds. It doesn't sound like a long time, but trust me, it is if you can't move. I even decided to hold my breath that way there was no movement. It worked because the pictures turned out really good!!!

Tourist Day

Hey everyone!
It's been a while since my last post. The past month has been super crazy! Doing some renovations on 2 of the bathrooms in the house so it's been pretty hectic. Then I had the flu which was a horrible and terrible experience. Now I'm all better and able to post outfits....YAY!

My OOTD for being a tourist for a day in the beautiful city of San Francisco!

Autumn Sun

Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends.

I wanted to share with you a couple of my purchases that I got during the Black Friday shopping madness!

Black Friday Deals:
Talula Military Jacket (10% off at Aritzia)
Striped Abercrombie & Fitch Dress (40% off at A&F outlet)

From my closet:
Enzo Angiolini Boots
Thrifted Dooney & Burke Purse
Rayban Wayfarer Sunglasses

I literally wore this outfit the day after I bought them. The Abercrombie & Fitch dress works perfectly with the green military inspired jacket from Aritzia. Which were both great deals. The dress was originally $40 but I got it for $25! The jacket was on sale for $100, but it was well worth it because I will get a lot of uses from it.

Pictures are courtesy of my friend, Jamie Balaoro

I'll post some Holiday Outfit ideas soon!

Turquoise Bliss

Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of outfit posts, oh the joys of working full time and commuting to work. It leaves me little time to post on my blog :(

But this weekend I finally got to take some pictures! Sunday was a good day. The weather was warm in the late afternoon and I decided to wear this turquoise dress that has a peach graphic print on it. I accessorized it with a peach woven belt that way it goes with the color scheme. Also wore shoes that my lovely boyfriend got me from Cole Haan

Textured Maxi

Hello Everyone! Something that makes my Monday bearable is taking pics of my outfit for this blog. Gives me something to look forward to since Mondays is usually tough.

I'm obsessed with maxi's and lace and this dress has both. Found this dress at Urban Outfitters for $69. I like how this dress is deceptively sexy. It has a slight slit on the side and a see through lace back. There's just something about this maxi that I find romantic, girly and sexy. I also love the texture of this maxi dress. It combines lace material and heather gray cotton together so perfectly!

Only accessorized with my teal sunglasses because it was sunny outside. But I will definitely invest in some cute bracelets and rings. More reason to go shopping!

Dress: Kimchi Blue from Urban Outfitters
Sunglasses: Target

This dress is a happy addition to my wardrobe. I think it's the perfect transition piece for summer to fall.

What to do guys think of my outfit? Let me know!

Simply Playful

Hello everyone!

Sorry for the lack of outfit posts lately. I'm adjusting my work and family schedule so I have some time to myself to take pics. Sometimes I wish I had a sibling that can take quick snapshots of my OOTD's but for right now, I'm depending on myself, my Canon camera and a tripod.

Also, this is my FIRST outfit post with my newly cut hair! I absolutely love this new haircut. It's easy to manage and super low maintenance.

EVERY girl needs a simple black skirt. I especially LOVE this skirt from Pink Stripes. The bottom hem has a think leather border all around. Paired this skirt with a printed black/white chiffon tank top.

Simple yet playful outfit for a date with that perfect someone :D

Weekend Brunch

Hello everyone!
Sorry for the mini break from outfit posting. But I've been battling with allergies, work and spending time with my parents because today is my Dad's birthday!

I wore this outfit this weekend while spending time with my mom and dad! We spent the whole weekend eating and shopping. Quality family time is always good for the soul <3

I'm still obsessed with maxi skirts and denim shirts so I decided to pair them together. My favorite obsessions in one outfit..what's not to love? Also, I found this Trouve clutch at Nordstrom Rack for only $34, originally $89! What a deal! This weekend was definitely awesome!

Top: Bella Dahl from Nordstrom Rack
Skirt: Sag Harbor Petite thrifted at Crossroads
