Hello Everyone! Here's my ootd (outfit of the day) for Wednesday.
Of course, I'm wearing my teal sunglasses. I think this is going to be my signature haha. This look is very business casual. I'm wearing a light pink blazer, dark beige lace top and maroon colored pants. Accessorized with my peach statement necklace and vintage Dooney & Burke purse.

The purse was thrifted at Crossroads Trading Co.

Down to Business Monday

Good afternoon everyone, so how was your Monday? For me, Mondays are the hardest days. It's the start of my work week and after the weekend off, I just want to stay in bed for another hour...maybe 2.

I decided to dress up for work and I've had this outfit in mind for the longest time. Of course, I'm wearing my signature teal sunglasses, but in some pictures I decided not to wear them. I also started to take close-ups of my top and bottom.

I am in love with the bag. I purchased it from Crossroads Trading Co. along with another purse, both are vintage Dooney & Burke purses. Whether they are real or not are still in question, but the quality feels pretty real to me. I didn't even have to use my own money! I brought a bag of clothes to sell and got store credit which I used to purchase the purses. I even got $8.13 cents back! Thanks Crossroads for my amazing additions to my closet.

Flowers, Teal and Sheer

Hello everyone! Today is such a hot day, summer has arrived. This will be a super quick blog post since I'm leaving to go bowling soon. Wearing flower print shorts, its a spring/summer staple for your wardrobe. I like how the print is subtle yet noticeable. I paired it with a sheer long sleeve blouse with a white tank top, teal sunglasses and matching shoulder purse and with ankle wedge booties

Enjoy the sun!! Summer is here!!!

Graduation Outfit

Morning everyone! Sorry my posts have been MIA. Last week so extremely busy for me. Work, house under construction, graduation etc were happening all at the same time.

Here's the outfit I wore for my Graduation from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). I got about a month ago from H&M, it was part of the Fashion Star reality show clothing line. The dress was designed by Luciana. Paired it with my cobalt blue Steve Madden platform sandal heels.

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it in the store! It had my name written all over it. The dress was calling my name.

FIDM allowed us to decorate our cap and gowns. For my cap I put "Thank you Mom Dad" in foam stickers and I ironed-on "I LOVE YOU" in gold glitter letters. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have accomplished anything.

I'll post pictures of my Cap decoration in my next blog post!! Be sure to check me out on Instagram: @itsmiianne

I post many pictures from what I'm eating to what I've bought. It's a quick and easy way to check out my daily fashions!! :D

Recycled fashion

Last Sunday was a really good day! I got to hang out with my parents, then later I went on a shopping adventure with my mom and my uncle. Towards the end of the day, we stopped by Crossroads (it was my mom and uncle's first time there). Crossroads Trading Co. is a high end thrift store. If you haven't been there, you should go. They buy your gently used fashionable clothing and you get CASH! You can also buy fashionable and designer items for an affordable price! I found some AMAZING shoes! At great prices!

Usually when I go thrift store shopping I barely find anything in my size, but that day I found so many cute shoes in my size that I went crazy and got every pair I liked. I also found a cute maxi skirt and a great dress!

Gotta love recycled fashion! There is absolutely no shame in wear previously worn clothing as long as they still look wearable and are still in good condition :D

Check out pictures below!

These are my favorite
Zara booties: $28.50

 Mossimo flats
$8.50

BCBG Generation slingback heels
$22.50

American Apparel Oxfords
$16.50

Sag Harbor Petite Floral Maxi Skirt
$8.50

 Bebe Bandage Dress
$28.50

My whole purchase for these items were $123!!! Not bad for 4 pairs of shoes and 2 items of clothing :D

Striped

There is a fashion rule: Don't wear black and brown together. But obviously rules are meant to be broken! Saw this adorable striped black and brown maxi skirt at Pink Stripes in Santana Row and I had to have it! I love maxi skirts, they are so comfy and chic.

Maxi skirts aren't just for average or tall women, they're also for us petite girls as well :]

I paired my latest maxi skirt with a black backless top that way it matches with the color scheme. Didn't want to wear anything to busy. Just a simple edgy top will do the trick. I can't remember where I got this shirt, I've had it since high school and it still fits!

Top: from a store I can't remember
Skirt: Pink Stripes
Sunglasses: Forever21
Flat Sandals: Marshalls

Hope you all like my outfit! Tell me your thoughts. Just one more day until Friday! Almost there!
